Just a question

Bearing in mind that on several occasions I have reminded you dear reader that my master is not into bondage…He called me this morning with a question/assignment and I am coming to you because I have yet to find the answer anywhere else..(how’s that for a run on sentence?  Mrs. Sage’s red pencil would be flying across the page…)

Being as allergic to marijuana as I am?  Would the same apply to hemp?  As in rope?  As in evidently He ventured into a club whilst down Taylor’s way and saw somethings that ‘intrigued’ Him?

Does anyone have any suggestions as to alternatives if hemp is not an option?

Inquiring minds want to know…

and now?  back to my drug induced fog…hot tea…and snuggles…

  1. Master and i use two different kinds of rope.

Hemp rope is what i call “rough” rope. Sometimes i crave the feeling of it.

We also use a softer rope. You can get it at Home Depot. It is nylon and even comes in colors. Yellow is Master favorite. i have never had any irritation from it.

You can also find (online if the only place i know of, but hey we are limited on “fun” stores here) a soft , flat rope, japanese rope is very soft also.

Unless there is a particular reason that only Hemp would do, there are many nylon ropes available.

i hope i answered your question at least a little bit.

    hugs

  2. definitely nylon! Master and i use nylon mostly, but you’ve got to remove the “core” of it so it would be soft and supple. Hemp cuts, depending on how tight you are being tied. But i prefer nylon and they leave nice marks that goes away after a couple of hours, so you won’t have to worry about the kids finding out or something.

    hope this helps.

    cheers.

  3. I would try rainbow ropes (which I think is nylon in really pretty colors – we have several colors) or even write Twisted Monk and ask him if he has heard….about allergies to hemp. He sells colored hemp rope that is really great.

  4. If you’re your skin is really sensative you could try ripped up tee shirts – like fruit of the loom cotton ones.

    lots o love

    Ree

  5. Thank you ladies! Master is going to give Twisted Monk a call on Monday to check with him but quite honestly? I think we will go toward a softer, gentler rope. This is a work in progress so I will let you know…
