Thank you all for your comments on my car…my poor baby is on her way to the salvage yard…the front axle was bent along with the frame being a bit twisted…my mechanic says he can repair/replace it but Master is adamant that it is not safe for me to drive anymore and despite having an amazing mechanic he is not a miracle worker and so she is gone….sighhhh

We will go car shopping when we get back.  Calls have been made to the insurance agent and my neice has a temporary Power of Attorney to deal with things while we are gone…we went and retrieved the things in my car as well as my personalized plates…so sad…

Most of the family – my side of it anyway – has departed for home.  Master and I along with His sons, His mother and three of the grands are leaving for China in the morning…some from here and the rest we are meeting up with somewhere along the route.  Specifically Wuhan which is where Master’s parents grew up.  It’s technically a 20 hour flight although we leave here at 9 something in the morning and arrive at nearly 10 pm the following day due to time changes and what have you…

Zizi is traveling with us in her own seat.  She has been cremated so obviously won’t need a seat but we had to either pack her in baggage or buy her a ticket…we did not want to risk losing her so she has a seat.  Which is fine – this way Master has room to stretch out.

My son opted not to go which on the one hand makes me kind of sad as this would be a most amazing trip for him but we will have so little time I suppose it’s best.  We land in Wuhan late Monday – China time – then back to Bejing on Wednesday then back home on Saturday I think…again I am not positive.

So dear readers…I will bid you all adieu for now and will return next weekend…for now I am off to give my Master release…it’s been a trying day…
